| Description: | Customer support involves completing daily service requests tickets for Adds, Moves, and Changes of telephony equipment. Must be able to perform the administrative duties of various telephony applications such as maintaining phone directories, call monitoring systems and call billing applications, etc. Also, must perform the installation of VOIP and analog telecom equipment with a basic understanding of VoIP related applications
In addition, evaluates new wired/wireless voice communications technology and makes recommendations to the Communications Manager. Must be able to perform informal training in voice/wireless communications equipment usage when necessary.
Install and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response, and video conferencing systems.
Configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telecommunications hardware, telephony devices, and voice/data hardware products
Maintains a directory of all cell phone numbers of individuals within and outside of the enterprise who may be necessary to contact in case of a disaster within the enterprise which has an impact on the voice/wireless system. As well as other cost management systems.
