| Description: | Install and support MS SQL servers and databases – SQL Server 2005 & 2008
· Performance and tuning of MS SQL servers
· Monitor MS SQL servers
· Plan for and perform upgrades of MS SQL software
· Design and implement SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for server maintenance, data transfer and cleaning, and other databases tasks
· Maintain and improve current Data Transformation Services (DTS)
· Assist developers in SQL query tuning
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of MSSQL DBA experience
· 3+ years of Transact SQL Experience
· Strong familiarity with database replication, clustering, and log shipping
· Strong problem solving abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work in a team and individually
· Experience using database monitoring tools and third party monitoring tools
· Strong performance tuning and capacity planning experience
