SharePoint 2007 Technical Specialist with 2 plus years experience with SharePoint 2007. The ideal candidate should be able to configure most out-of-box features of SP as well as minor customizations. Basic web development (HTML/JavaScript/AJAX/.Net/Database) skills are required and portal experience is an asset.
The candidate ideal should be familiar most of the tasks listed below.
• Planning SharePoint site layout and structure
• Planning and designing site navigation using SharePoint navigation controls
• Creating and coding site master pages for top level and sub sections of the site
• Creating and coding custom Web authoring and collaboration template sets
• Planning and designing workflows for Web authoring and collaboration
• Planning and designing SharePoint-based Web content management solutions
• Creating and implementing site variations for languages other than English
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint integration
• Experience with SharePoint 2007 (MOSS 2007) as a developer
• Strong ASP.NET 2.0 concepts with C#
• Developing and coding InfoPath forms
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, to meet deadlines and to complete time-sensitive duties as assigned
• Support a full development lifecycle
• Customizing the SharePoint graphical interface
Technical Skills:
• .NET coding skills specifically those used for creating custom web parts using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. C# is preferred.
• Concepts in next generation web technologies such as Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX). Preferred skills in using Microsoft AJAX .NET technologies
• Expert in creating and applying cascading style sheets to SharePoint templates
• Expert in creating SharePoint templates using XHTML and including ASP.NET code and other SharePoint-specific markup
• Complete knowledge of SharePoint Web parts, their use, and how they are customized and applied to SharePoint templates, especially those used for Web publishing and collaboration
• Microsoft SQL Server database concepts (MS SQL Server 2005)
